With her inimitable sass, humor and immensely rich voice, Broadway star Patti LuPone sings of the crimes, affairs and mysteries of the heart in songs by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Randy Newman, Brian Wilson, Judy Collins, Dan Fogelberg, Joni Mitchell and Cyndi Lauper. The original Evita, LuPone swept the 2008 theater awards winning the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Actress in a Musical and the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance for her performance as Rose in the critically-acclaimed new Broadway production of the classic musical Gypsy. Earning an Olivier Award for her performances in London's West End productions of Les Miserables and The Cradle Will Rock, she also received a Tony nomination for her role in the 2006 smash hit revival of Sweeney Todd.
